2016 Mothers Day Range

The mothers day range for 2016 is a very beautiful floral group of products that are all suitable for vegans. The New Zealand range consists of  five products that can be bought separately.

The first product that i'm going to talk about which is quite possibly my favourite product this year is a new product called lady bird. This is a very unique smell. I think it's a mix between Snow fairy, which is a very popular shower gel that comes out around Christmas time that has a very sweet bubble gummy scent,  and the bath bomb intergalactic which has a very minty scent. It is priced at $9.90 NZ which is a little on the expensive side for such a small bubble bar, but it smells so nice, and is so cute it makes up for its small size.

The next product is a shower cream called Yummy Mummy. This product has been reinvented into a different product. Last year it was a shower gel but this year has been made into a shower cream, which I think makes it look way better. It is a beautiful purple color with shimmer all through it. It has a very fruity, creamy kind of scent that I love, but is a very acquired scent that not all will enjoy, so unless you've smelt it in the shop and loved it don't buy it only cause you may not like the scent. It is priced at $23.50 for 250g, and $34.90 for 500g. It makes me very sad that they didn't bring out a 100g bottle in NZ.

The following product is one of the first products to sell out completely in my local store and online. The product is called, Flowering Tea Reusable Bubble. This product has been made to look like a giant tea bag. The "bubble bar" or as I like to call it a bath dunk, is a very floral scented product covered in silver luster. Priced at around $12 i can't quite remember it is very expensive, but if you can get around three baths out of it, I think it is worth it.   Its floral scent comes from the orange blossom, and jasmine absolute in it. Inside of the "tea bag" there a beautiful small handful of blue cornflower petals on the inside that is a pleasant surprise. So whether  you decided to use the tea bag in multiple dunks, to break it in half and use each side in one bath, or to use the whole thing in one bath, you are going to have a very pleasant bath.

The second to last product that you can buy separately is the Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb. Like the Yummy Mummy shower cream this product has been given a new look. Last year it was a plain white sphere with a rose on the top and a pink inside with dried rose petals on the inside. This year though it has been given a very glamorous revamp. It is now bright pink with rose imprints on it with green leaf imprints. I love the look of this bath bomb, but personally I don't like the scent of this. Again it is a very floral scent and shares its scent with the Ro's Argan family, But to me I just smell this really overpowering grassy smell that i'm not a big fan of. It's priced at $8.50 so it's not too expensive.

The Final product you can buy separately in NZ is the Sunrise Soap making it's first appearance in shops. This soap is amazing I would definitely recommend it. When I was in the shop on the day the Mothers Day collection came into NZ shops, this soap arrived fresh in a box and had been made earlier that day. The shop assistants who might I add are the kindest most helpful people in the world, cut it right in front of us. To start of with it was a orange half sphere but when they cut into it you discovered how it got its name. Inside had the most beautiful oranges, yellows, reds which made it look just like a sunrise. This soap smells amazing like oranges and lemons. It also shares it scent with the breath taking bubble bar, Brightside, so If you know what that smells like, that's what sunshine smells like. Priced at $8.40 for 100g its a steal.

There is also another product called the sunflower bubble bar which is huge! The sad thing is that it is only sold in gift sets unless you buy it from Oxford street. It is found the gift sets, Ladybird, and Mom. Sunflower is a beautiful lemon sherbet smelling bubble bar that you could definitely  get around probably seven baths with decent sized bubble it just depends on how big you want them.

That is all the products you can purchase in NZ. I know there are other products that you can purchase in other countries or in the Lush Oxford street such as the flutterby bubble bar which looks like the comforter with a butterfly on the top, Tulip Bubble Bar which is a reusable bubble bar on a stick, and also Roller Bath Bomb which is a weird looking half purple, half white bath bomb.

Happy Bathing
